L’histoire de la pièce
Un geste, une allure.
Safou porte le nom d’un fruit emblématique du Congo, un nom qui me ramène à mon héritage.
J’ai imaginé cette sur-jupe comme un geste plutôt que comme un vêtement : on la noue, et la silhouette change. Son volume court et son long pan asymétrique dessinent l’allure, sans jamais prendre le dessus sur celle qui la porte.
Sur un pantalon, une jupe ou une robe, elle se réinvente au gré de vos envies.

The story of the piece
A gesture, an allure.
Safou takes its name from a fruit emblematic of the Congo, a name that brings me back to my heritage.
I imagined this overskirt as a gesture rather than a garment: you tie it, and the silhouette changes. Its short volume and long asymmetric panel shape the allure, without ever overpowering the woman who wears it.
Over trousers, a skirt or a dress, it reinvents itself as the mood takes you.
